Thank
You–

To all of you who came before– burning candles at both ends to craft a new way into being.

To my parents and the long line of crafters and makers in my family, both known and unknown– you are my source.

To my bookbinding teacher, Dr. Elsi Vassdal Ellis who graciously nudged me onto this path.

To all of my sisters of the tide for being a constant source of inspiration. Thank you for beaming your practical magic into the world.

To my fellow book lovers and all who have attended workshops with me, collaborated with me, published my work, and supported me along this path. Thank you for your honest reflection and for inspiring this journey.

To the stones, the plants, the water, and the bees– none of this would be without you.

I believe it paramount to name those who have contributed to and inspired one along their given path. It not only shows how intricately the human family is connected, but reveals a reverence for the immense energy demanded to breath live into any particular craft during this modern age. Do support the artisans who make it their devotion to sustain handcrafts – for the greatest challenge is to endure constant testing of one’s livelihood within a modern capitalist economy that so earnestly worships novelty and quick commodity.

Over the years I’ve collaborated with incredible photographers and you will find glimpses of their work here – Satya Curcio, Jane Bear, Leslie Satterfield, Britney Gill, Renata Chebel, and Sally Pinera. Thank you for your highly-tuned vision and bringing this work to life through your lens.
