Caring for your Journal

  • To prevent pages from rippling, keep your journal protected when in moist environments.

  • Should your journal come in contact with water, blot it with a towel and dry with a cool fan. Try flattening the pages by gently pressing the journal under a stack of books overnight.

  • To avoid fading leather color, keep out of direct sun.

  • Scratches and scuffs are inevitable & add character. We urge you to embrace these natural imperfections as marks of beauty.

  • If you carry your journal in a bag, take a moment to wrap it in a cloth or piece of leather. This will save the binding from potential snagging and undue wear & tear.

  • If your journal is nearing its end, it might be time to meet its maker. Contact erica@loombound.com for a quote to repair or rebind your journal with new pages.
